Connecting Children’s Literature to Nature Studies
Children’s literature can be a beautiful way to introduce young students to the wonders of nature. Discover how to prepare your young learners for outdoor exploration through the use of some of our favorite nature-based storybooks. Engage in outdoor activities that explore the common themes of adaptations, cycles, patterns, seasons, and observations. For teachers of pre-K to 2nd grade.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harris Center. Cost: $120. Space is limited to 20 attendees, and registration is required by March 26. For questions about the event, including accessibility, please contact Jaime Hutchinson at hutchinson@harriscenter.org.
