Location: White Mountain Huts, Gorham, NH
Season: Fall 2026 (August–October, depending on hut)
Pay: $11.50/hour + tips

Spend the fall living and working in New Hampshire’s White Mountains as part of AMC’s Backcountry Hut Crew. Crew members provide exceptional guest experiences through cooking, housekeeping, educational programs, trail information, and backcountry hospitality while living as part of a close-knit team.

This seasonal position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hiking, outdoor living, teamwork, and connecting people with nature. Room and board are available, along with AMC member benefits and gear discounts.

Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have strong customer service skills, backcountry experience, and the ability to thrive in a communal living environment. Food service experience is preferred but not required.
