NH Energy Education Project (NHEEP) and VT Energy Education Project (VEEP) are holding a Weatherization Build-a-thon. This is a (free) competition in which the students build something (a prop, experiment, etc) in order to demonstrate one or more of the key principles of weatherization. If students want to participate NHEEP/VEEP recommends their free Heat Transfer workshop (which would involve an Energy Educator coming to the school for a 1.5-2hr program). This workshop can be scheduled between now and the beginning of May. Then students research, build and make a video showing off what they have built. The winners can collect a cash prize and a thermal camera for the school. The “showcase” (and entry deadline) is May 23, 2025.
