Embolden Environmental Foundation is launching three new grant programs to help K–12 schools, colleges and non profit partners in New England create more sustainable learning environments and provide students with hands-on opportunities to engage with the environment.

The Composting & Waste Reduction Grant Program will support schools in reducing waste through composting, recycling, food-waste reduction, reuse initiatives, and other practical waste-reduction projects. Grants may fund equipment, educational materials, student programs, and other resources that help schools build lasting waste-reduction practices.

The Outdoor Classroom Grant Program will support the development and enhancement of outdoor learning spaces where students can learn through hands-on exploration of nature and the environment. Eligible projects may include outdoor classrooms, teaching gardens, nature-based learning areas, and other improvements that connect classroom learning with the natural world.

The Environmental Clubs Events Grant Program will provide funding for environmental club events, conferences, guest speakers, educational programs, and other activities that engage students in environmental issues and encourage hands-on leadership.
