Project WILD Special Topic: What’s Bugging You? – Outdoor Ecology & Disease Vectors

Project WILD Special Topic: What’s Bugging You? – Outdoor Ecology & Disease Vectors

This summer, turn your outdoor safety talk about mosquitoes and ticks into fun, hands-on learning. Come to this interactive 2-hour Project WILD special topic workshop designed for educators and camp counselors (working with students ages 8-18), and take away two engaging activities: Mosquito Mayhem and Tick Trek Adventure. We will explore the life cycles, habitats, and ecological roles of these tiny but impactful disease vectors, while connecting their effects on ecosystems and human health. These newly released Project WILD activities are not included in the standard curriculum guides. Prior Project WILD training is not required.
