Water Science and Poetry for Elementary Students!

The annual NH Drinking Water Festival, Science Fair and Poetry Contest are coming up in May. This is our 31st year! Hundreds of students participate each year and learn about water science, resources, ecology, engineering and solutions from water professionals. Teachers who have participated will share their curriculum ideas and experiences. There are multiple ways to participate, including right from your own classroom without driving a mile! NH Envirothon - An Academic Competition with Lifetime Skills

The NH Envirothon (NHE) offers teams of students to challenge themselves to prepare for the academic state competition in May. Students who love the outdoors and nature, who enjoy problem solving, and who enjoy hands-on learning are ideal for the NHE. This workshop will give an overview of the NH Envirothon to new NHE teachers as well as those who are considering bringing the Envirothon into their schools. Gather ideas, ask questions, and brainstorm methods to help lower obstacles to starting teams in your school. Click here to register.
