Celebrating the Launch of NH’s Gen:Thrive Map & Database: A New Resource for Environmental Education

We are thrilled to announce that the NH Gen:Thrive Map and Database are officially LIVE! 🎉 This exciting new tool is part of a collaborative effort between NH Environmental Educators (NHEE) and the NH Energy Education Project, in partnership with GenThrive.org. Together, we've created a searchable and filterable directory of environmental education programs across New Hampshire. And the best part? It’s part of a larger national database that will make it easier than ever for educators, students, and administrators to find the resources they need to advance environmental education (EE).
So, what does this mean for you? Whether you're an educator looking for field trip opportunities, a school administrator seeking professional development (PD) resources, or a program coordinator wanting to connect with like-minded organizations, this map and database are here to help.
The Gen:Thrive NH Map allows users to easily find local organizations, events, presenters, curriculum, and more. Plus, it will enable us to better understand gaps in environmental programming across the state so we can work toward improving and expanding offerings. The more we can connect with and learn from each other, the stronger our collective impact on environmental literacy, climate justice, outdoor learning, and green workforce development.
How Can Your Organization Get Involved?
If you're part of an environmental program or organization in New Hampshire and want to be included, it’s easy to get listed in the directory and on the map. Simply visit the following link to fill out a brief survey:
Add Your Organization to the NH Gen:Thrive Map & Directory
Once your information is submitted, your organization will be visible to a wider audience, helping to connect you with the teachers, students, and administrators who can benefit from your programs.
Why This Matters
Not only does this initiative help enhance access to environmental education, but it also brings New Hampshire into a larger national network of organizations committed to the same mission. From supporting climate justice to promoting healthy school buildings, this growing movement across the country is dedicated to advancing environmental literacy and creating sustainable, impactful educational opportunities.
We’re so excited to be part of this broader effort, and we encourage all of you to explore the NH Gen:Thrive Map and Directory:
