This year’s conference explored the new NH Frameworks for Science Literacy that were approved in 2006 and how classroom teachers and non-formal educators can work together to meet these frameworks. Many non-formal and formal educators came together to network and attend workshops on topics such as: inquiry based science, earth system science and getting students outdoors. A keynote panel of speakers topped off the evening with information about how the focus of science education is changing, the importance of inquiry, earth system science resources and opportunities and how school districts are incorporating the new frameworks into their curriculum. Our keynote panel included: NHEE wants to extend our appreciation to our keynote speakers, workshop presenters, volunteers, conference attendees and anyone else who assisted in making this year’s annual conference a success!
