Dec. 17th Outdoor Learning Virtual Roundtable
Join us for this interactive opportunity to have your outdoor learning questions answered by experienced nature-based and outdoor educators!
This event is limited to 40 registrants. Before you register please check your calendar and make sure you are able to join us on Thursday, Dec. 17th from 7:00-8:00p.m. EST. This will be an interactive event - cameras on, mics on!
Registrants will participate in two different breakout rooms for a roundtable Q & A with experienced outdoor, nature-based educators. Please come prepared with questions and resources to share on the two breakout room topics you choose.
Once you register you will get a confirmation email from Zoom with the breakout room sign up form. Sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis!
Breakout Room Topics:
Infrastructure, Gear & Problem Solving- with Eliza Minnucci, Founder of ForestKinder & Adjunct Faculty at AUNE and Christina Wild, 2nd grade teacher at Dothan Brook School in Hartford, VT
Management: Getting Outdoors & Staying Out- with Olivia Griset, Ex. Dir. of MEEA and Corie Scribner, 3rd grade teacher at Woodside Elementary School in Topsham, ME
Documentation in Outdoor & Nature-Based Learning- with Megan Gessler, Founder of NINPA & Early Childhood Program Coordinator at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL and Peter Dargatz, Kindergarten teacher at Woodside Elementary School in Sussex, WI
Translating Curriculum Outdoors- with Liza Lowe, Founder of Wild Roots Nature School & Affiliate Faculty at AUNE and Cristina LaRue, Middle School teacher at Mt. Village Charter School in Plymouth, NH
