  2. NHEE is leading the effort to promote and implement New Hampshire’s Environmental Literacy Plan, a groundbreaking initiative to integrate environmental education into K-12 public education in every school in New Hampshire.
  3. NHEE is the lead organization in New Hampshire that provides networking opportunities such as our annual conference for environmental education organizations, teachers, businesses, outdoor and conservation organizations.
  4. As a member of NHEE, you have access to our website, Listserve, and newsletter where members can receive and post information about professional development, grant and job opportunities, EE programs, NHEE happenings and latest EE information.
  5. Your membership promotes recognition of exemplary EE efforts in New Hampshire through our annual awards process.  NHEE provides recognition to educators that are going above and beyond in EE in New Hampshire.
  6. NHEE serves as NH’s voice in the regional and national EE policy circles.  Members of the NHEE board also serve as NH’s representatives on the board of the New England Environmental Education Association and often attend the North American Association for Environmental Education’s affiliate meetings. The board members advocate for New Hampshire EE issues at a regional and national level.
