Join NHEE for our Spring 2018 Workshop and Annual Meeting:
Community Engagement for Environmental Educators
Tuesday, March 27, 8:45 am – 3:30 pm
Antioch University New England, Keene, NH
We are excited to announce that this year we will feature a full morning, large-group exploration of NAAEE’s newest publication, Community Engagement: Guidelines for Excellence. Jean Kayira and Libby McCann of Antioch University New England and ee360 will lead this activity, which is suitable for environmental educators from all backgrounds. Included in the activity will be an overview of the publication, as well as in-depth activities.
Don’t know anything about the Community Engagement Guidelines? Published by our national affiliate, NAAEE, the guidelines focus on community wellness and are designed to help environmental educators create inclusive environments that support effective partnerships and collaborations. Join us so that you can learn more at this workshop! You can also find background information and a free, downloadable copy of the publication here.
Don't forget to nominate an educator for NHEE's Environmental Educator of the Year award!
The award ceremony will take place after the workshop along with our annual meeting. Know someone who’d be a perfect fit for our award? Please nominate them here.
We will wrap up our day with an afternoon activity that will provide an opportunity to converse with other NHEE members while reflecting on the morning’s activities.
